Seachem Seed is used when setting up an aquarium. When you add this product you are adding required bacteria to breakdown fish waste and prevent the ammonia spike that kills fish.

Over time you aquarium builds up too much sludge and detritus. Remediation bacteria go to work on those issues and give you a cleaner aquarium with fewer unwanted nutrients like nitrates.
